The commercial launch of the iPhone 4 is further enhanced by Zynga’s announcement that their number-one money-maker FarmVille is already available at iTunes App Store. It’s a free download and you can get it from http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/farmville-by-zynga/id375562663?mt=8. It’s been tested to be fully-compliant with iPhone iOS 4 but only requires you to have iPhone OS 3.0 or higher to play. The game is tightly integrated with Facebook, you will need to login with your FB account to play. The large screen of the iPad is perfect for FarmVille. Now that this app is here, you have no more excuses left as to why your vegetables and crops wilted overnight. You can manage your farm wherever and whenever as long as you got your iPhone.
Zynga Finally Ported its FarmVille Game App to the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad Tablet PC
I hope that Zynga made a better version for the iPhone. Apple mobile gadgets do not support Adobe Flash which is what they used to create FarmVille on Facebook so I am very excited to try this iPhone version. I really hated the memory-heavy FB Farmville, It used to eat up as much as 350MB of my poor netbook’s memory. The iPhone SDK required all apps to run in Apple’s Cocoa Framework which programmers have always touted to be lightweight and more efficient than other programming languages.
The iPhone iOS 4 version of FarmVille is not a carbon copy of the Facebook version. Zynga has added exclusive content for the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad users. While this game is for free, you are encouraged to purchase in-app for Zynga’s FarmVille Cash and Coins. I heard from a friend who already had this game on his iPhone 4 that working on his farm is faster because tractors and seeders operate more quickly than they do on the Flash-version on Facebook! Just a hint…
